GIRARDI, CECELIA J.
Cecelia J. Girardi, formerly Cecelia Sammarco, age 92 of Gainesville and Delray Beach, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 01, 2012 in Gainesville, Florida. She was born in Buffalo New York on September 19, 1919. She later moved to New Rochelle and Hopewell Jct, NY before moving to Florida in 1981. Cecelia was a home maker but began working in a Hallmark Store until she was 82.
She is survived by her only daughter, Elizabeth Short (Betty Lou Girardi) five grandchildren, Cecelia Short-Lockler and her husband Mark , Frances Short, Elizabeth Cespedes and her husband Anthony, Gerard Short and Alfred Short and his wife Kim, 3 great grandchildren, Tommy Short, Joey Short and Michael Short.
A Catholic Mass will be held 9:30AM, Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Holy Faith Catholic Church in Gainesville, Florida with Father John officiating.
