JOHN GRANT THOMPSON
Age 68, Son of the late Dea. Hio & Irene Thompson, former University of Florida & Waste Management Employee, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Park Meadows Health & Rehab Center.
The Homegoing Celebration will be held 11:00AM Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Showers of Blessings Harvest Center (Gainesville, FL) Apostle Willie L. King, the Pastor of the Church, delivering the Eulogy. The Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery (Archer, FL). Mr. Thompson will be viewed at the Funeral Home on Friday 5:00-7:00PM (where the Family will receive Friends). He will also be viewed at the Church on Saturday 30 Minutes prior to the Services - And with the Processional. The Procession will form at Mr. & Mrs. Thompson's residence 17225 SW 128th Place, Archer, FL at 9:30AM.
He will be cherished in the hearts of his loving Wife - Betty L. Thompson, Sons - Apostle Willie King, Jr. (& Linda), Persel King (& Willie Mae), Douglas King (& Cassandra); Daughters - Maxine Word (& Brian), Jasmine Thompson and Rasheada Thompson; Brothers - Robert Thompson (& Marie), Roosevelt Thompson, Joseph Thompson (& Pearlie Mae), Matthew Thompson (& Judy), James Wesley Thompson (& Bertha), Michael Thompson and Esley Thompson; Sister - Mary (& Rev. Willie) Lock (Rosa Lee McBride preceded him in death); Grands; Great Grands; Aunts & Uncles; Nieces & Nephews; Cousins; & Friends.
