Martha Ann Cassels Kenney went home to her Lord courageously on August 12, 2012 after a decade long battle with illness. She was preceded in death by her beloved Mother and Father Mrs. and Mr. William Mikel Cassels and her three sisters Frances Runnels, Dollie Newton and Willigene Teuton.
She was a loving and faithful wife of 53 years to her surviving husband Edward "Spanky" Kenney of Gainesville who dedicated his life to her care and wellbeing.
She was a treasured Mother to her two children Chip Kenney (and Toni) and Delia Kenney Quested (and Ronnie). She was "Nannie" to and beloved by 6 Grandchildren, Raini, Jarrod, Jaimi, Casey, Marci and Melanie and 8 Great Grandchildren, Jayden, Chance, Hagen, Bryleigh, Frankie, Blayne, Saydie and Casen. She leaves behind a community of forever grateful and loving family and friends.
There will be a Visitation at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 17, 2012 at the Milam Funeral Home Chapel.
