FUNDERBURK, MICHAEL
"MIKE"
Michael "Mike" Funderburk, age 59 of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in Shands at the University of Florida Hospital. He was born to Mike and Betty Funderburk. Mike grew up in Keystone Heights, was an avid lifelong Gator fan and sports memorabilia collector. He worked at Shands for 39 years.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Funderburk of Gainesville, FL; mother, Betty Funderburk of Keystone Heights, FL; sons, Mark Funderburk of Cary, NC and Ryan Funderburk of Gainesville, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Funderburk.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 1:30 p.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street.
