Judy Margaret Pollydore-Douglas, 62 passed away Oct. 7, 2012. She was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad West Indies and came to Gainesville in 1988 from New York. She was a member of Compassionate Outreach Ministry. Survivors include husband George W. Douglas, III Hawthorne, FL.; son Joseph Jamal Lewis, Laurelton, NY; daughter Kathyann Murphy, Newberry, FL.; sister Marlene Eugene, Laurelton, NY; brothers Marlon Jacob, Brooklyn, NY, Anthony Pollydore, Laurelton, NY, Kerr Pollydore, Port of Spain, Trinidad, West Indies and four grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Pollydore-Douglas, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at Compassionate Outreach Ministries Bishop Larry J. Dennison officiating Interment will follow in Forest Meadows East Memorial Park under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home 18 N.W. 8th Ave Gainesville, FL. Visitation Friday Chestnut Memorial Chapel 2:00 - 7:00 PM and on Sat., at the church one hour before the service. Family members are asked to meet at Chestnut Funeral Home 18 N.W. 8th Ave Gainesville, FL. at 10:15 AM to form the cortege.
