Gainesville - Age 96, Husband of the late Bernice Gillespie, US Army Veteran (World War II), Retired Chauffer, peacefully left us on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in Union City, Georgia.

Funeral Services (with Military Honors) will be held 3:00PM Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church (Gainesville, FL) with Reverend Dr. F.N. Gallmon, delivering the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Mr. Gillespie will be viewed at the Funeral Home on Friday 2:00-7:00PM - At the Church on Saturday 30 Minutes prior to the Services - And with the Processional. The Procession will form at The Gillespie Family Home, 903 NE 22nd Street, Gainesville, at 2:15PM.

Mr. Gillespie leaves to cherish his memory: daughter - Ann Gillespie of Atlanta, GA (Gladys G. Singleton preceded him in death); son - Michael Gillespie (& Vanessa) of Stone Mountain, GA; 3 grandchildren - Michele Boykin (& Anthony) of Dayton, OH, Rodney Gillespie of Springfield, OH, and Adrian Gillespie of Stone Mountain, GA; 2 great grands; 2 great-great grands; brother - Connie Gillespie of Tallahassee, FL; sister - Mae Frances Gillespie of Perry, FL; nieces & nephews; cousins; & friends.
