PALMER, DR. LOLITA

ANNETTE GIBBS, PH.D

Gainesville - Dr. Lolita Annette Gibbs Palmer, age 75, Wife of the late Roland Palmer Sr., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, following a brief stay at the Select Specialty Hospital (Gainesville, FL).

Dr. Palmer served in the capacity of School Administrator and Teacher for a total of 50 years (retiring from the Alachua County Public Schools in 2003).

The Homegoing Celebration will be held 10:00AM Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Faith Tabernacle of Praise Ministries (Gainesville, FL) with her Pastor, Dr. Larry D. Mitchell, delivering the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Forest Meadows Memorial Park-Central. Dr. Palmer will be viewed at the Funeral Home on Friday 2:00-7:00PM - At the Church on Saturday 1 Hour prior to the Services - And with the Processional. The Procession will form at the residence of her daughter, Dr. Lavetta Palmer, 4342 NW 15th Terr, Gainesville, at 9:00AM.

Those left to cherish her dear memories are: Sons - Roland Palmer Jr. of Gainesville, FL and Ricky Palmer (& Michelle) of Umatilla, FL; Daughter - Dr. Lavetta Palmer of Gainesville, FL; 2 grandchildren - Ashley Palmer of Oviedo, FL and Justin Palmer of Lake Mary, FL; Great Grands - Jordan Fuller and Alana Fuller of Orlando, FL; in-laws; nieces & nephews; cousins; & friends.
