EDWARD RANDALL, 67

Gainesville - Edward Randall Jewett passed away on Wednesday, March 19th. He was 67. He was born in Kinston, NC and moved to Winter Haven, Florida when he was 12. He graduated from the University of Florida and returned to work there as an archivist for the University of Florida Libraries for many years. He loved working and being on campus.

He enjoyed gardening, reading, motorcycles, music, watching Gator sports, and loved his family.

He is preceded in death by his father Edward L. Jewett.

Survivors include his wife Nanette Jewett of Gainesville, daughters Tristana Currin and Vanessa Jewett of Gainesville, sons Edward F. Jewett and Jeffrey Jewett of Gainesville, his 3 grandchildren Colin Currin, Emma Currin and Ella Currin of Gainesville, a sister Jean Gibson of Havana FL, and his mother Vera Jewett of Winter Haven, FL.

The family will be holding services in a private manner.
