Mr. Johnnie D. Fair, age 88, passed away, March 22, 2014 in Statesboro, GA. Mr. Fair was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church where he served as past President of Choir #1, President of the Prayer Band, and the Deacon Board.

His siblings who preceded him in death; Rev. George Fair, Beatrice Fair Griffin, James (Shorty) Fair, Maybell Fair, Gertrude Fair, Martha Fair, and Annie Fair.

He is survived by his son, George Bush, Statesboro, GA; granddaughter; five great grandchildren, devoted friend; Margaret Hill, Gainesville, FL; caregivers, George Young, Michael Burns, Jonathan Young.

Funeral Services for Mr. Fair will be held, 2:00pm, Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church, Elder Alvin J. Ford, Officiating; burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Arrangements entrusted to Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N.W. 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL.

Mr. Fair will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel, Friday, April 4, 2014 from 2:00 until 7:00pm, and on Saturday at the Church from 1:00pm until the hour of service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the home of Mr. Fair, Gainesville, FL, to form the cortege, 629 N.W. 3rd Street, Gainesville, FL, at 1:15pm to form the cortege.
