Gainesville - Willie Ford "Doc", age 93, Retired Traffic Engineering Technician/City of Gainesville, left this earthly scene on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Haven Hospice/E.T. York Care Center.

The Homegoing Celebration will be held 10:00AM Saturday, April 26, 2014, at PASSAGE Family Church (Gainesville, FL) with Pastor George B. Dix, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Mr. Ford will be viewed at the Funeral Home on Friday (2:00-7:00PM) - At the Church on Saturday 30 Minutes prior to the Services - And with the Processional. The Procession will form at Mr. & Mrs. Ford's residence, 1000 SE 19th Terrace, Gainesville, at 9:15AM.

Mr. Ford is the last of 9 Brothers and 2 sisters born to the union of the late Dollie & Frank Ford.

Mr. Ford will remain within the hearts and minds of: wife (of 64 years) - Eula Ford; children - Andrew Ford, Delores Wilson, Dollie Lang (& Warren), Alpha Omega Davis, Lestine Ford, Willette Gandues (& Lonnie), Judith Ford Martin, Willie Edward Ford and Jennifer Pettigrew (& John) all of Gainesville, FL (Carrie Sutton preceded him in death); 24 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; in-laws; nieces & nephews; cousins; & friends.
