She was a past member of the Eastern Star and Shrinettes. She loved playing the organ and singing her favorite hymns, and could not wait to do the Sun Crossword Puzzle each day. Her favorite things were her Church, collecting Hummels, her Thursday dinner outings with her (Thursday gang), and Las Vegas. She loved her journey through life and the many interesting people she met along the way.

Angel attended McNeese State College in Lake Charles, LA where she pursued a degree in business. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonia Hoover of Alachua; son, Fred M.
