Williston, FL - Theodore R. Dallas, Sr. 'BO' of Williston, FL 108 passed Monday, August 18, 2014.
Mr. Theodore Roosevelt Dallas, Sr. was born September 2, 1906 in Monticello, Florida, to the late Mr. Miller Dallas and Mable Baker. He was the oldest of four children. He worked at Burns Lumber and Saw Mill Company for 27 years and then was employed with the City of Williston where he drove the sanitation truck and retired after 17 years. He was a member of Mason Lodge #114 in Dunnellon, Florida. He was also a past Steward of Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
He leaves behind his legacy to carry on by his sons, Rudolph (Marilyn) Dallas, Orion Dallas, and George Berrien, 110 grandchildren, 130 great grandchildren, 25 great-great grandchildren, and many great-great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation Friday, August 29, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church. Celebration of Life Saturday, August 30, 2014, 11:00 a.m. First Baptist Church of Williston. Interment New Hope Cemetery.
