Mary Frances Kelly Toler, 68, died March 24, 2011 after an extended illness. She was born in Puerto Rico but lived her whole life in Gainesville, FL and graduated from Gainesville High School.

She is survived by her husband Michael Toler, three brothers; five children, Carolyn Kelly Snowden, Mack Shane Kelly, Karen Kelly Schlesinger, Mickey Toler, and Bridget Toler. She was a devoted grandmother to Kelli Snowden, Kyle Snowden, Charlotte Schlesinger, Alexander Schlesinger, and Amy Kelly.

She was a graduate of Eckerd College and earned a Master's Degree in Theological studies from Loyola University in New Orleans, LA. She also earned her chaplains certificate where she volunteered throughout various local hospitals. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Always involved in advocacy she was a loyal volunteer with Hospice, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Gainesville Junior Women's Club, Girls Club, a Guardian ad Litem for 25 years, and a member of Beta Sigma Phi.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m. at Milam Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 412 NE 16th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601. Memorial contributions may be made to the Guardian ad Litem program, in care of Milam Funeral Home. She was a loving mother, devoted wife, wonderful friend who you could turn to in need.
