Johnnie Lee Daniels, 74, passed away at his home April 12th surrounded by his family. A native of Dupoint GA., he moved to Alachua, FL. from High Springs, FL. He was a member of New St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and chairman of the finance committee. Survivors include: a loving wife, Minister Evelyn Daniels, Alachua, FL. children; Johnnie Lee Daniels, Jr. & Raynard Daniels, (Angela) both of Atlanta, GA. Evette Camps, (Walter) Alachua, FL., Audrey Curtis, High Springs, FL., Atwan Wright, (Katrina) Tampa, FL., Courtney Bryan, (Lavonya) Alachua, FL., Laranisha Cutolo, (Joseph) Jacksonville, AK., Breanna Williams, Alachua, FL., two brothers Robert Daniels, High Springs, FL., Elbert Daniels, Gainesville, FL., two sisters Ruthel Williams, Gainesville, FL., Vivian Daniels, High Springs, FL., 21 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Deacon Daniels will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2012 at New St. Mary's Baptist Church Alachua, FL. Rev. Daniel McNish, Pastor, Rev. Raleigh Rucker, officiating Burial will follow in. Pine Hill Cemetery under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home 18 N.W. 8th Ave Gainesville, FL. Visitation Friday 2:00-7:00 PM Chestnut Memorial Chapel The family will receive friends at the chapel from 3:30 - 5:30 PM The cortege will form at the home of Deacon & Minister Daniels 15602 N.W. 142nd Terrace Alachua, FL, at 12:15 PM.
