Dorian Arist Handros, age 58 passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, FL with his wife at his side. He was born on July 23, 1954 in Miami, FL at Mercy Hospital. He attended Coral Park Senior High School. Dorian was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and also enjoyed all motor sports, fishing, and cooking. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Diana and siblings, Nicolette Handros, Nannet Read, Adrian Steele and Kyle Colby. Dorian was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Handros. Dorian was a dedicated pet owner and adopted numerous rescues in his lifetime. He will be missed by his dogs, Jack, Bonnie, Little Man and cat, Frankie. Dorian will be remembered as an honest, generous, courageous and witty individual. There will be a remembrance ride on October 14, 2012 beginning at 10am at Gainesville Harley-Davidson and ending at Gator Tales, 5112 NW 34th Street, Gainesville, FL 32605 to celebrate his life with friends and family.
