Mark "Chunky" Reddish, age 52, a lifelong resident of Starke, Florida passed away November 6, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Starke, Florida on October 21, 1960. Chunky was a Master Sergeant in the Florida National Guard and held the position of Senior Logistics NCO. In his spare time Chunky loved hunting, spending time with family and friends, but most of all spoiling his granddaughter. He considered his hunting cabin in Alabama his "first" home and his residence in Florida as his second. Chunky was preceded in death by his grandparents, P.D. and Ruth Reddish of Starke, FL and Dwight Whitney "Pappy" and Marjorie Carpenter of Sante Fe Lake.
He is survived by his daughters, Georgia Reddish of Starke, FL and Monica "Jo Jo" Ames and her husband Mitch, of Starke, FL; his father, Dolph (Janet) Reddish of Starke, FL, his mother, Shirley Reddish of Keystone Heights, FL; his brother, Greg Reddish, DMD, of Orlando, FL; his sister, Karen Reddish of Palatka, FL and his granddaughter, Madalyn Ames, and so many close friends and family.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, November 9, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Madison Street Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1pm - 4pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Mark's name.
