John Washington Bozeman, III, passed away Dec. 16, 2012 at Florida Hospital Hospice Care in Daytona Beach, FL. He was born in Gainesville, FL to John W. & Gloria Bozeman on Aug. 1, 1951. He lived in Levy County for years before recently moving to Ormond Beach with his family. Mr. Bozeman proudly served his country in the US Navy and Florida National Guards. He worked as a mower operator for Levy County. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, Nascar, whittling, telling jokes and pulling pranks.

He is survived by his wife, Nettie Bozeman of Ormond Beach; son, John W. Bozeman, IV of Inverness; daughters, Missy Alford of Chiefland, Nora Cooper of Ormond Beach; sister, Sharon Marlow of Crystal River; step mother Carolyn Bozeman and step sister, Vicki Carlton, both of Milton, FL and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec 20, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service with Pastor Adrian Land officiating. Visitation will be Wed. from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
