Charles Stafford (d-boone) Baker, formerly of Princeton, WV and Palm Harbor, FL. went to be with our Lord and Savior on Dec.23, 2012 after an extended illness at home. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, The Elks, VFW, American Legion, Suwannee Shiners, Morocco Temple of Jacksonville, Moose Lodge, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Ocala, F.R.E.A, and Brown Lodge Chiefland, He was a former Marine, retired teacher/middle school principle. He has resided in Chiefland for 23 years. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing and sports.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stafford & Myrtle Mills, parents, Guy T. & Eula Mae Baker; brother, Guy Baker; sister Margaret Bolton and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Ruth Chance Baker; sister Sarah Jane Alford of Aurora, CO; daughters, Pennie (Winston) Arokiasamy of Lumberton, N.C, Saralee Tyler of Dayton, WY, Cynthia (John) Winsor of Londonderry, N.H; son, Adrian Locklear of Chiefland; 10 grands, Racheal Elizabeth Winsor, Joshua Daniel Winsor, Andrew Christopher Winsor of Londonderry, Darian Danielle Locklear, Madison Paige Locklear, Alexa Rachelle Sawyer of New Port Richey FL, Lauren Lorraine Locklear of Caldwell, Idaho, Rachal Mary Arokiasamy, Olivia Ruth Arokiasamy Charles Sebastian Arokiasamy of Lumberton, and a host of other friends and relatives.

A Celebration Of His Life will be on January 26th, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Pine Grove Baptist Church on CR 339 Trenton, Fl. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church Missions or to Harmony Pregnancy and Resource Center in Chiefland.
