Lake Butler - Mr. Larry Seay, 63 of rural Lake Butler died Thursday morning at ET York Haven Hospice of Gainesville after an extended illness. Mr. Seay was born in Worthington Springs and was a lifelong resident of Union County. He was a former truck driver and owned a business. He also worked with the Union County Sheriff's Department from 1986 to 1995. He was a member of the Lake Butler Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was the son of the late Dewitt William and Alma Lee Knight Seay.

Mr. Seay is survived by one son Mikell Todd Seay of Lake Butler; four brothers, Gary (wife Brenda) Seay of Lake Butler, James Seay of Lake Butler, Jimmy (Wife Laverne) Seay of LaCrosse, Rex (wife Kimberly) Seay of Lake Butler; one sister JoAnn Shadd of Lake Butler; two granddaughters Ashley Taylor Seay and Morgan Brooke Seay both of Lake Butler.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 7, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler with Elder Brian Johns and Jerry Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. Call Cemetery near Worthington Springs. Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon at Archer Funeral Home from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
