BECKHAM, 64

Alachua - Sandra Jane Beckham Crosby, 64, of Alachua, passed away at E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville on January 4, 2013.

Sandra was born on May 24, 1948 in Denver, Colorado to J.O. and Alice Manchego Beckham. She retired after 27 years with the Alachua County Codes Enforcement Office as a Zoning Technician. She worked with Dr. Brasher, Dr. Evans and Dr. Casey. She loved her flowers and pets.

She was preceded in death by her father, J.O. Beckham and a brother, Don Holloman.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Bert Crosby; daughter, Lisa (Rod) Stephens of Hahira, GA; sons, Shawn Z. Akers of Hawthorne, FL and Buddy Crosby of Carrabelle, FL; her mother, Alice Beckham of Hawthorne; siblings, Ron Beckham of Hawthorne, FL, Mary (David) Beardsley of Gainesville, FL and Randy Beckham of Hawthorne, FL; her grandchildren, Lindsey, Jared, Sierra, Andrea and Brianna and one great-grandchild, Elli. She also leaves behind many other loving family members. The family would like to recognize their close friends, Stan and Karen Tileston, and cousin, Sharon Rehberg, for their special love and care of Sandra.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME HAWTHORNE, 22205 S.E. 69th Ave., Hawthorne with Pastor Nancy Case officiating. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.
