Glenn Hubler, of High Springs, passed away Dec. 23, 2012 at his home. Glenn was born on Oct. 8, 1937 in Ashland, Pennsylvania and moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1970 before re-locating to High Springs in 1996.

He served 22 years in the U.S. Coast Guard and retired in 1976 as a Chief Gunners mate. Glenn was also a Vietnam veteran. In 1996, Glenn retired from the Sloan Pump Company and most recently, he owned and operated a mobile vehicle detailing business, Gatortail Detail.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ellie Hubler, daughters Glenda Cole of Keystone Heights, Heather Murphy of High Springs and son Jeffrey Hubler of High Springs. He also has six grandchildren and five great-grand daughters.

A public memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. at Evans-Carter Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., High Springs.
