NORMAND, DONALD OWEN
Melrose - Dr. Donald Owen Normand, 03/28/1930 - 03/26/2013, Missionary, Evangelist and Pastor for 30 years in Southern Africa. Dr. Normand immigrated to USA 33 years ago and resided in Melrose, Florida. He taught in Christian Colleges and was an Itinerant preacher through out the world. Dr. Normand obtained his Doctorate from Christian Life School of Theology and was the author of several books. He was a great servant of God and soul winner for Christ for more than 60 years.
Survived by his bride of 62 years, Cindy Normand; 3 daughters, Mary and husband Malcolm Thorogood; Jill and husband Frank Richmond; Desré and husband Peter William; only son, Mike and Jackie Normand; 10 grandchildren; Kerry, Jacqueline, Paul, Simon, Stephen, Lisa, Donna, Michelle, Samantha, and Jessica; 13 Great Grandchildren; William, Olivia, Ted, Blake, Kate, Juliet, Brianna, Macy, Penelope, Remington, Ava, and Madelyn, and Zoey; brother, Peter Stranack and Candy Smooch his beloved dog.
The "Old African Lion" no longer roars and has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior.
A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm in Trinity Baptist Church, 3718 SE SR 21, Keystone Heights, Florida 32656. Donations in lieu of flowers greatly appreciated to: Don Normand Ministries, P.O. Box 813, Melrose, Florida 32666.
