Robert "Bobby" Montgomery Sapp, passed from this life May 10, 2013. Bobby, the second son of Elonzo B. and Viola Sapp, was born in Gainesville, Florida on August 16, 1926. He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Juanita Murray Sapp, his parents, and his brother, E.B. Sapp, Jr.

Bobby leaves his son, Chuck (Susan) Sapp, daughters Jean (Tom) Worthington, Kathy Sapp, and Lori (Jimmy) White; his grandson, Robbie (Christina) Sapp, granddaughter, Karen Sapp, granddaughter Mickie Worthington (Jeff) Goelz, grandson, Rick Worthington, granddaughter Jamie White, and great-granddaughter, Bailey Sapp. He also leaves his sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Clifford Beatty, two nieces and one nephew.

In addition to Bobby being an U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, he was a land surveyor and baseball coach in both Alachua and Brevard Counties.

A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Ave., Gainesville with Military Honors on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jim Riley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32606.

The family would like to thank Travis for his continuing care over the last two years. Also the VA Hospital for their care throughout the years and Haven Hospice for their heartfelt care in the passing of our dad, Bobby.
