ELKIN PERRY "JACK", 92

High Springs - Elkin Perry "Jack" Cook, Jr. age 92 of High Springs, FL died Saturday, Feb-ruary 22, 2014 at the E.T. York Hospice Care Center. Mr. Cook was born in St. Mathews, SC to Elkin Perry Cook, Sr. and Christbelle Stabler Cook.

He was a resident of High Springs for years moving here from Jacksonville, FL, was of the Baptist faith, served in the U.S. Navy, and was a retired Insurance Agent with the Gulf Life Insurance Co.

He is survived by his daugh-ter, Pat Ridaught of Gaines-ville, FL; sons Jim Cook of Gainesville, FL, Ron Cook of Ft. Myers, FL; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Mon-day, Feb. 24, 2014 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Fu-neral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Evans-Carter Funeral Home with burial following in High Springs Cemetery. Evans-Carter Funeral Home, 220 N Main St, High Springs, FL is in charge of the arrangements.
