PENNY, HENRY, JR., 84

Archer - Brother Henry "ACE" Penny, Jr., 84 of Archer, Florida was called home with the Lord on March 14, 2014, while in the care of the Woodlands Care Center in Gainesville, Florida.

Brother Penny was the husband of the late Clytha Mae Penny and member of St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church of Archer, Florida.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, three daughters, Vernell Clayton (Fred) of Archer, FL, Jacquelyn Haywood (Henry) of Delray, FL and Kathy Penny; one son, Michael Penny (Sheila) both of Archer, FL; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Louis Penny (Queen) of Raleigh, FL and Amos Penny (Minister Corrie) of Archer, FL; four sisters, Rosetta McGill (Reverend Calvin) of Wildwood, FL, Maryland Stewart, Ernestine Jefferson both of Archer, FL and Henrietta Brown (Earl) of Williston, Florida; two sisters who preceded him in death, Hazel P. Taylor and Pearlie Mae Brown.

The Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, 11:00a.m. March 22, 2014 at St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church (18107 S.W. 107th Street) Archer, Florida with Rev. Mack Edward delivering the Eulogy and Rev, Otis Boykin Officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday at Carnegie Funeral Home in the Wade Greenlee Memorial Chapel from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to services. The cortege will form at the home of Brother Henry Penny in Archer, Florida at 10:00 a.m.
