KRUGMSN-KADI, EILON Gainesville - Eilon Krugman-Kadi was the first born son of Aaron and Aliza Krugmatt-Kadi. He was born in Jerusalem August 20th, 1948 in the midst of Israel's War of Independence. Eilon's love of flying began at age 15 flying gliders in Israel. He was in the Israeli Air Force as well as an engineer in the Israeli Navy. He moved to America to go to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1973. In his career he was a faculty flight instructor for Embry Riddle, was a commercial pilot for both airlines and business jets, and held multiple certifications in Jet and piston aircraft. He recently became an ACE card holder and was enjoying his greatest dream of being an airshow performer. He loved to talk to people and inspire them about his passion for life and flying. Soon after graduating from Embry Riddle, Ellen came to Gainesville to attend The University of Florida College of Law. During his time at UF, Eilon flew the "Blue Goose" a DC-3 for the Athletic Association, Eilon graduated from the University of Florida in 1977 as a Juris Doctor. Eilon was the president, founder, and senior partner of The Law Offices of Eilon Krugman-Kadi, P.A, He was one of only 31 board certified aviation lawyers in Florida. Eilon was a prominent, successful and well respected trial attorney for the last 30 years operating his personal aircraft and exercising his passion of flying to reach clients in need of representation anywhere they required. Eilon was an outgoing and exciting person. He loved people and loved interacting and socializing with all. His eternal youthfulness showed in all aspects of his life and he inspired others to live life to its fullest. His eternal optimism and smile was just as amazing as the fact that once he met you, he would never forget your name. He was the epitome of a "people person" Eilon's passions were not limited to flying and law. His interests were amazingly diverse and ranged from sports, including marathon running, snowboarding, and wakeboarding to spending quality time with friends and family. He was a successfulbusinessman outside of his law practice to include owning a sod farm, a motel and multiple property investments. He was also a philanthropist and great supporter of many charities with a focus on supporting his faith, the Jewish community and Lubavich Jewish Center. Eilon's friends and family were his, greatest joy in life. He was a devoted father and mentor too, not only his immediate family, but to all of those fortunate to have met him. He was wise beyond his years and always seemed to have the right answer to every question. Although, Eilon died doing what he loved, his legacy lives on in each person his amazing life has touched.
