Mrs. Carolyn Jeanette Clark, 79 of Flowery Branch died Monday May 6, 2013 at Southern Pines Assisted Living.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Ross and Bessie Allison. She was a homemaker and a member of the Union Baptist Church.
Mrs. Clark is preceded in death other than her parents, by her husband, Bronson Clark; and a sister, Merle Chandler.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Martin; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Becky Clark; son, Darrell Clark, all of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Josh Martin, Jared Martin, Ryan Clark and Zack Clark; great-grandchild, Carli Martin; sisters, Annie Ruth Ivey and Marie Long, both of Gainesville; brothers, Horace Allison, Dewell Allison and Dilmous Allison, all of Flowery Branch; a number of nieces; and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Lowell Whitmire will officiate. Interment will follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, May 7, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Union Baptist Church, 5115 Union Church Road, Flowery Branch, GA 30542, or the Chris and Dana Reeve Foundation, www.christopherreeve.org, in memory of Mrs. Clark.
