Frank L. Downing, honored World War II veteran, devoted husband, cherished father, grandfather and loyal friend to many, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016. He leaves behind five children: Nancy Wiley, Larry Downing (Sheila), Mark Downing, Teresa Bodine (Doug) and Carmen Minyard; nine grandchildren: Erin, Brian, Carrie, Jennifer, Randy, Amanda, Charlie, Kelly and Derrick; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as devoted extended family and countless wonderful friends.
