Bunch, Johnnie L. - Buford  
Sept. 23, 1948-April 19, 2016 Mr. Johnnie L. Bunch, age 67, of Buford passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at his residence with family. A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, in the chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. Pastor Kelley Farver will officiate. The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home. Mr. Bunch was born Sept. 23, 1948, to the late Clerence and Hazel Bunch in St. Joseph, Mo. He was a member of Church of God, served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and worked for Yellow Freight as a truck driver. Mr. Bunch was also preceded in death by brothers, James Bunch and Sonny Bunch; and sisters, Kathy Townsend and Barbara Cox. Mr. Bunch is survived by his wife, Linda Bunch of Buford; sons, Johnnie Bunch Jr. of Jefferson and Jeffery Bunch of Braselton; grandchildren, Alicia Bunch, Ashley Bunch, Joshua Bunch and Jesse Bunch; great-grandchild, Malachi Bunch; and several nieces and nephews. Conner, Rachel Ann - Blairsville  
Jan. 16, 1957-April 24, 2016 Rachel Ann Conner, age 59, of Blairsville, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016, at her residence. Ann had previously been a resident of Hall County. Ann was born in Gainesville on Jan. 16, 1957. Ann was the beloved wife of Terry Conner of Blairsville. Ann was the beloved mother of three children that she loved dearly. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Chris Davidson of Gainesville; son, Hunter Conner of Blairsville; and son, Bo Fowler of Gainesville. She is also survived by her mother, Wilma Poole of Gainesville; as well as her brother and sister-in-law, Donny and Phyllis Poole of Gainesville. She is further survived by special close friends, whom she dearly loved, Dale and Janell Ward of Greensboro. Ann had a number of other very special friends both in Gainesville as well as in the North Georgia Mountains that she enjoyed spending time with. Ann was preceded in death by her father, Carl Poole of Gainesville; as well as her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lee and Julia Conner of Gainesville. Ann graduated from East Hall High School. She was the first one in her family to further her education. She graduated from Brenau College in Gainesville as an honor graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education, as well as graduating from Piedmont College in Demorest as an honor graduate with a master's degree in early childhood education. She began her teaching career in the Hall County School System at Tadmore Elementary School. She was well liked and left a positive impression on many of her students. Later in life she was employed with the Gainesville City School System, where she taught at both Enota Elementary School and New Holland Elementary School. After retiring from Gainesville and moving to the mountains, she became bored quickly and became employed by Brasstown Valley Resort, where she enjoyed meeting and helping people. Ann was a member of Timber Ridge Baptist Church in Lula, but since moving to the North Georgia Mountains, had been attending Enota Baptist Church in Hiawassee with her family. She was a professed Christian, accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be on Saturday April 30, 2016, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Memorial Park Road in Gainesville. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cormick, Stuart S. - Flowery Branch  
July 16, 1967-April 27, 2016 Stuart S. Cormick, age 48, of Flowery Branch passed on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Dawn Marie Cormick; nephew, Joshua Smart. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Cathy Cormick, Flowery Branch; children, Patrick Shamus Cormick, Cornelia; sisters and brother-in-law, Tamala Jean and Lee Boon, Alberta, Canada, Reta Cormick, Flowery Branch; brother and sister-in-law, Clinton William Cormick Sr. and Gloria M. Cormick, Flowery Branch; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Cormick was born on July 16, 1967, in Groton, Mass. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a 1986 graduate of Johnson High School in Gainesville and was a truck driver for M.D.S. Trucking Company. He was a former Hall County deputy sheriff and a volunteer fireman for Hall County. He was a member of Academy Baptist Church in Jefferson. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 4 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. A private service for family only will be on Monday, May 2, 2016, at Woods Grove Baptist Church in Auburn, Ga.
