Tammi Lynn (Simpson) Pinson

Mrs. Tammi Lynn (Simpson) Pinson, age 53, of Gainesville, Ga., passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

A memorial service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pinson was born in Atlanta, but spent most of her life in the Gainesville/Hall County area. Tammi was a homemaker, and a member of First Baptist Church on Green St., and graduated from Gainesville High School.

Tammi is survived by her husband, Johnny Pinson, Gainesville; sons, Trey Pinson and Carter Pinson, both of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Christa and David Andrews, Dawsonville; grandson, Ethan Andrews; and granddaughter, Caitlyn Andrews, both of Dawsonville; parents, Paul and Joyce Simpson, Woodstock; sister and brother-in-law, Victoria and Tre Glassman, Woodstock; mother-in-law, Bonnie Pinson, Gainesville; sister-in-law and husband, Beth and Dave Jones, Chestnut Mountain; special aunt and uncle, Mary and Pete Stone, Buford; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Hall County Humane Society, 845 W. Ridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30501.
