Dr. Keith Ash was born on April 4, 1965, and died on June 27, 2012. He was a member of Air Line Baptist church and was a Board Certified Surgeon.
He is survived by his wife, Lindsay Gouge Ash; and a son, Garrett Keith Ash. Other survivors include his parents, Doug Ash and Charlotte Ash; grandmother, Vivian Ash; mother and father-in-law, Connie and Minor Gouge; sister and brother-in-law, Debby and Doug Wood; friend, Dale Rountree; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother, Jackson and Myrtie Williams; and grandfather, Hubert Ash.
Dr. Ash was a graduate of East Hall High School, Georgia Tech and The Medical College of Georgia. He practiced medicine in the U.S. Navy in Portsmouth, Va., and Okinawa, Japan, Dublin and Commerce, Ga. Dr. Ash achieved the rank of lieutenant commander in the Navy.
His loves were God, his family, his patients and Georgia Tech. Now he is with his beloved Papa Jackie, Granny Myrtie, God and Elvis.
Visitation will be at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Monday, July 2, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Air Line Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bradley Elliott officiating.
