There aren't enough words to express just how wonderful Mrs Bates was to all of her students and just how loved she was by all of us. She taught us all much more than math. She taught us how to live and about the things that are truly important in life - God, family & friends.

Mrs. Bates was a wonderful teacher and friend to my family. She and my mom were very tight while they taught together at Habersham Central. After my mother retired and she became ill, Mrs. Bates was caring and giving. She would come over and check on mom often.

She is partly responsible for my success today in my career - her 11th grade calculas class has served me well.

Bless her and her family at this time of loss.
