Doris McCumber Obituary

Doris McCumber, 93, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Church of Nazarene with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Huff and the Rev. Don Moore will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 23, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. McCumber was born on Nov. 3, 1921, in Adrian, Mich., to the late Bert and Mildred Wheeler. She was a retired computer operator and a Member of Church of Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William E. McCumber.

Mrs. McCumber is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Renee McCumber of Jacksonville, Fla., Bruce and Lynn McCumber of Gainesville, Bill and Tamara of Gainesville, Bert and Melinda McCumber of Murrayville; daughter, Jean McCumber of Gainesville; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
