Frank N. Hunt Obituary
Mr. Frank N. Hunt, 71, of Hoschton, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Leona Sayers Hunt; six brothers; and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Ann Smith Hunt; children, Robert Legh and Elizabeth Hunt, Rawlins, Wyo., Dana Hunt Brown and husband Richard, Dacula, Ga.; five grandchildren, Rebecca Hunt, Peyton Brown, Preston Brown, Mary Hunt, Jenna Brown; sisters, Marlene and Jim Latham, Sedona, Ariz., Dorothy and Russell Gunderson, Phoenix, Ariz., Evelyn and George Doubles, Muskegon, Mich.; brothers, Jack and Dee Hunt, Globe, Ariz.; and several nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Mr. Hunt was born July 24, 1942, in Shelby, Mich. and lived in Madera, Calif., for 43 years. He was a United States Navy veteran with the rank of Lieutenant from 1960 to December 1967. He served three tours in the Far East during the Vietnam War. Mr. Hunt was a 1960 graduate of Glendale Union High School, Glendale, Ariz., and also a 1964 graduate of University of Arizona with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture. He was a retired farmer and had a grape vineyard on his farm where he raised grapes. He was an associate member of The Church at Litchfield Park, Litchfield, Ariz. He had fond memories of his friends in Madera, Calif.
Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church Chapel with Dr. David Davis officiating, with a reception to follow after the service.
Memorial donations may be made to Arizona Transplant House, 5811 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85054 in memory of Frank N. Hunt.
