Bobbie Nell (Underwood) Sosebee Obituary
Bobbie Nell Underwood Sosebee, 77, of Talmo, died in her home on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013. She was born June 19, 1936, in Pendergrass, Ga., the daughter of Rufus Underwood and Beatrice Bryant Underwood Pethel. On Oct. 13, 1953, she was united in marriage to Billy Jackson Sosebee Sr. in Walhalla, S.C. Bobbie was the owner and operator of Sosebee's Flower Shop in Oakwood, Ga., for 10 years and worked as a florist for many years following.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Sosebee, Talmo; two children, Jackie Cooper, Jefferson; and BJ Sosebee, Talmo; six grandchildren, Lew Puckett, Scott Puckett, Beth Cooper, Johnathan Cooper, Katie Sosebee, and JT Sosebee; six great-grandchildren, Nathan Puckett, Emily Puckett, Gracie Puckett, Lauren McMillan, Kristin McMillan and David Guthrie; and two brothers, Harold Underwood, Talmo; and Freddie Pethel, Jefferson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rufus Underwood; and mother, Beatrice Bryant Underwood Pethel; stepfather, Fred Pethel; daughter, Debbie Puckett; sisters, Kate Heberlen and Willene Waters; and brothers, Sam Underwood and David Underwood.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 2:30 p.m. at Talmo Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Spence and the Rev. Charles Jenkins officiating. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. to greet relatives and friends.
