Michael Timothy Skinner, 58, of Gainesville, Ga., passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013.

A lifelong resident of Hall country, he was born on July 3, 1955, he was the son of the late Rev. Ford and Eloise Stowers Skinner. He had been employed with Merritt Construction and with M&S Grading and Grassing for a number of years. He was a member of Chestatee Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Cory and Amy Skinner, Jefferson; grandson, Zak Skinner, Jefferson; granddaughter, Kenzie Skinner, Jefferson; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Harley Delong, Gainesville; Cory's mother, Sharon Pool, Lula; and a host of nieces; and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. The Rev. David Skinner will officiate. Interment will follow in the Chestatee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. and again from 6-8 p.m.
