Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Randall Lee Childers, age 58, of Gainesville. The Rev. Raymond Latty will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Ward's Funeral Home. Mr. Childers passed away Monday, May 7, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Mr. Childers was born in Fulton County but had lived in Hall County most of his life. He was a 1971 graduate of South Hall High School. He had worked for Winn-Dixie Grocery Store and Retired from Bell's Food Store. He was preceded in death by his father,
Robert Lee Childers.
Survivors include wife, Caroldean P. Childers, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Kenneth and Cindi Childers, Gainesville; mother, Nancy Marell Childers, Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Mandy Childers; sister, Sandra Childers; grandchildren, Abigail Childers, Eli Childers; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
