Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Tiffany Haley Williams, age 29, of Flowery Branch, who passed away Nov. 16, 2012 at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta after a nine-year battle with cancer. Tiffany was born in Greenville, Ky., on Feb. 26, 1983, a daughter to Tommy and Peggy Haley of Gainesville, and she graduated from Johnson High School in Oakwood. During her short adult life, she championed the Relays for Life, and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night causes, and garnered accolades from friends and loved ones who considered her their hero in the fight against cancer. Tiffany was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Doug Garrett and George Haley, and grandmother Jenny Pursley.

Survivors include her husband, Bryan Martin Williams of Flowery Branch; son, Austin Troy Williams, Jefferson; parents, Tommy & Peggy Haley of Gainesville; mother-in-law, Charlotte (Chris) Beaty, Flowery Branch; father-in-law, J. Stephen Williams, Lilburn; grandmother, Sue Garrett; uncle and aunt, Steve and Belinda Staples; cousin, Stuart Staples, Phyllis Harris and family, all of Drakesboro, Ky., Lisa Rogers and family, Lewisburg, Ky., and Deborah Daughtery and family of Central City, Ky.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Stewart officiating. The burial will follow in the Evans Memory Gardens with Josh Williams, James Williams, Stuart Staples, Steve Staples, Brian Phillips, Wayne Smith honored as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
