Miss Amanda Jean Payne, age 30 of Clermont, Ga., passed away at her residence. Miss Payne was born in Gainesville, Ga., to the late Paul Loye Payne and Wanda Ledford Payne. She worked at Dairy Spot in Clermont and she was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Blairsville, Ga. Miss Payne will always be remembered for being a very caring and loving person.

She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Loye Payne; and her grandparents, Wayne and Mattie Payne. She is survived by her mother, Wanda Ledford Payne, Clermont, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Robert Carter, Clarkesville, Ga.; sister, Tina Payne, Clermont, Ga.; grandparents, Gene and Hazel Ledford, Cleveland, Ga.; niece, Amanda Brooks (Daniel Brock), Clermont, Ga.; nephew, Cameron Payne, Clermont, Ga.; great-niece, Makayla Brooks; and many other relatives; and friends.
The family will receive friends at Alexander Funeral Home in Cleveland on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jason Helton and the Rev. Wade Plott officiating. Interment will be at the New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Blairsville, Ga.
