Charles O. "Chuck" White passed away March 1, 2014, at Northeast Georgia Medical center.

Born on Sept. 17, 1951, in Canton, Ill., to Joann Gibbs and Charles L. White.

A very talented musician, Chuck worked in the music industry for many years. He managed several bands and was lead vocal and keyboard. Chuck continued playing piano and loved music. In later years, Chuck worked in the retail industry and managed several operations.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Laurie Lemm White of Gainesville; Mother and stepfather, Joann and Jim Kalfas of Florence, Ariz.; father and stepmother, Charles L. and Linda White Phoenix, Ariz.; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Christy White, Independence, Mo.; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Steve Walz, Morton, Ill.; mother-in-law, Mary Lemm, Gainesville; brother-in-law, Jeff and Carrie Lemm, Davenport, Iowa; sister-in-law, Barbara Sas, Lilburn, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service is planned for a future date.
