Dr. Pamela Jean Childress of Gainesville passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 25, 2014, from 4–6 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow from 6–7 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Peggy Wages will officiate.
Dr. Childress was born May 29, 1951, in Gainesville, Ga., to Rudolph and Betty Grigg Childress. She was an assistant principal, with 39 years of service in Hall County, as well as a member of Candler United Methodist Church.
Dr. Childress is survived by her mother and father; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Mark Stubblefield of Atlanta, Melanie and Clint Yarbrough of Flowery Branch, Michelle and Ben Tomasello of Cumming; grandchildren, Chandler Kenny, Cade Kenny, Lilly Stubblefield, Mia Tomasello, and Logan Stubblefield; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Cynthia Childress of Jefferson; and sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Bob Boudreau of Braselton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a program established by Pam and very dear to her heart: Candler United Methodist Church, Pamela Childress Family Outreach Program, 1960 Candler Road, Gainesville, GA 30507.
