Mrs. Dorine Reese Aaron, age 90, of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, at New Horizons Limestone Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Jeff Thompson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Aaron was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Warrenton, Ga., to the late Wyman Reese and Ocey Turner Reese. She was a nursing assistant in Warrenton, Ga., and was the valedictorian of Camak High School. Dorine was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents; and her former husband, Thomas Aldred; and husband, Monroe Aaron.
Mrs. Aaron is survived by her sister, Dorothy Reese Musselwhite of Gainesville; nieces, Joy Reese Tillirson, Sonja Goodman, Brenda Aldridge, Elna Jones, Ginger Brackins and Ola Williams; and her nephews, Harry Musselwhite Jr., Steve Musselwhite, Robert Reese, Daniel Reese, Michael Reese, Boyd Reese Jr., Roy Reese and Howard Reese.
