Edna Mae Sexton Dunagan, 78, of Gainesville passed away on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dunagan was born on Sept. 3, 1935, in Gwinnett to the late Hershel Sexton and Viola Jones Sexton. She was retired from Wal-Mart and attended Zion Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Franklin Dunagan; brother, Leroy Sexton; special friend, Neal Landers.
Mrs. Dunagan is survived by her daughter; Melissa Jane Dossett of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Mitzi Dunagan of Cleveland; grandson and wife, Justin and Shelley Dunagan of Lula; grandsons, Sean Feagins of Cumming, Brooks Teal of Cleveland, Zachary Dossett of Cumming; granddaughter, Reagan Dunagan of Cleveland; sister, Shirley Reece Parden of Flowery Branch.
