Carol Keller Pass Swafford, age 70, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at Willow Wood Nursing Home following an extended illness.|
Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at 11 a.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Greg Peck will officiate.
Mrs. Swafford was born April 9, 1942, in Mount Airy, Ga., to the late Roy Keller and Minnie Lee Parson Hunter. She was a retired nursing assistant and was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph Swafford, sister, Louise Hunter, and stepfather, Jim Hunter.
Mrs. Swafford is survived by her daughter, Melinda Pass Chatham of Dacula, sons, Bubba Pass of Suwanee and Pete Hunter of Texas, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sisters, Misty Hunter of Gainesville, Judy Booth of Mount Airy and Linda Dotson of Gainesville, and brother-in-law, Bobby Hunter of Cornelia.
