Dicie Maxine Davis, age 55, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Osteen will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ms. Davis was born June 11, 1957, in Gainesville, Ga., to William Arthur Green and Dicie Burton Fowler Green. She was employed with Power Design and was a member of Oakwood Gospel Tabernacle. Dicie was preceded in death by her mother, Dicie Burton Fowler Green.
Ms. Davis is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Allison Davis of Gainesville, son, William Davis of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Chantel and David Weaver of Gainesville, father, William Arthur Green of Gainesville, grandson, Dillon Dail of Gainesville, granddaughters, Dicie Tayler Davis and Mary Elizabeth Weaver, both of Gainesville, brothers, Clinton Alan Flanagan and Carl Terry Flanagan, both of Gainesville.
