James William Baugh, age 74, of Boulder City, Nev., passed away on Oct. 20, 2013. He was born in Gainesville, Ga., on Oct. 11, 1939, to Mark and Berlon Masters Baugh. He was an outstanding football player for Gainesville High School Red Elephants. James served his country for 17 years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. After his service he worked as an engineer. He enjoyed fishing and loved to golf. He was a member of the Apple Valley Golf Club in California, and the Goshen Plantation Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara May Baugh; two children, Mike (Jeannie) Baugh, Steve Baugh; two grandsons, Christopher Baugh; Jason; two sisters, Edna Braswell, and Sheryl Wright.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nev., at 1:20 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation at 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256, in the name of James Baugh.
