Robert had a two-year battle with emphysema and COPD. During his battle Robert was hospitalized several times. He fought a hard battle over the years, till his body just gave up. He was a fighter from his first breath till his last. Most people would say he lived a hard life, but everybody that knew Robert says he was a great and caring person. Everybody that knew him would tell you that he was a down to earth person and would do anything to help you. He loved to hunt and fish and would always be telling stories about hunting and fishing. One of his favorite things to do was ride around the river. Although Robert is gone he still remains in our hearts. We know he is waiting up in Heaven looking down on us, and watching after us.
Robert, if you can hear me, you and Greg reel in a big one from the river of Jordan. See you in a little while my friend.

So sorry for your loss. Frances & Robert were childhood friends of mine & my sister Reta. We shared many fun times together as children. May God bless your whole family in your time of grief.
