Elmo Lewis Webb, 82, of Hillsville died April 2, 2013.
He was born Oct. 4, 1930.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend passed away at the home.
He was a Veteran of the Korean War
stationed in Alaska.
He was active at First United Methodist Church and VFW
Post #1115 in Hillsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Della Webb; his siblings, Daniel Webb, Eldon Webb and Ida Mae Martin.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia O. Webb; sons and daughter-in-laws, Mike and Jeanne Webb of Galax, Va., Tim and Janne Webb of Abingdon, Va., and Greg and Melanie Webb of Lexington, S.C.; grandsons, Michael Webb and (wife Erin) of Thomasville, N.C., Garrett Webb and Grayson Webb of Lexington, S.C., and Bryan DeCaterina of Ashville, N.C.; great-grandson, Collin Thomas Webb of Thomasville, N.C.; and nephews and nieces; special nephew, David Webb; special nieces, Barbara Lou Smith and Faye Sykes; special friends, Jim Massey, Raymond, Bill and Patrick Amstutz.
"Moe," as he was called by many, was known for his great sense of humor.

A celebration of life will take place at First United Methodist Church in Hillsville on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 6 p.m. VFW Post #1115 and Army National Guard Reserves will provide military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VFW Post #1115 in Hillsville and First United Methodist Church in Hillsville.
