Ethel Stoneman Easter, 86, of Fancy Gap, Va., born on June 30, 1927, went to her everlasting rest on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014.
She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur Roscoe and Linnie Edwards Stoneman; brothers, Guy (Arlene) Stoneman and Barney (Sally) Stoneman; and sister, Ruth (Ruben) Bunn.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Clyde E. Easter; four sons, Arthur Easter, David (Becky) Easter, Daniel (Wanda) Easter and Timothy (Colette) Easter; her seven grandchildren, Kin Easter, Curt Easter, Craig Easter, Maria (Adam) Cottingham, Luke Easter, Amy (Caleb) Clayton and Emily Easter, who will serve as active pallbearers; her 10 nieces and nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Easter was a loyal wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly, watercolor painting, gardening and making music. She was loved by everyone.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with Minister Worley King officiating. Burial followed in Mount Lebanon Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
