Jason D. Hudson, 36, of 3489 Barrett Road, Ennice, N.C., passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Alleghany Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Alleghany County on Dec. 18, 1976, to Teddy Wayne Hudson and Iva Lee Hudson Black.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Jeffery Wayne Hudson.
Jason attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, S.C., where he majored in culinary arts and obtained a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management. He graduated with his Masters of Business Administration degree (MBA), in Providence, Rhode Island where he later worked as a project manager, for Citizens Financial Group, Royal Bank of Scotland. He also held several positions in the hospitality field.
Jason enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also had a love for food and cooking. He enjoyed working in the yard and in his vegetable garden.
Survivors include father, Ted and stepmother, Lynda of the home; mother, Iva Lee Black and stepfather, Roger of Kernersville, N.C.; one stepbrother; five stepsisters; and several cousins and special friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held Saturday, June 8, 2013, beginning at 2 p.m. at Glade Creek Union Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery. Family received friends two hours prior to the service, noon until 2 p.m.
